What we record, and why
- Appointment request: chosen treatments, date, time, name, phone number and note. It is used to process your request and reply to you on WhatsApp. Kept for: 12 months after the request.
- Product order: items, delivery method, delivery place, name, phone number and note. It is used to prepare and confirm your order. Kept for: 3 years after the order.
- Abuse protection: an unreadable fingerprint of your IP address is used to limit the number of requests sent from the same device. Kept for: 24 hours.
- Assistant: when the AI conversation is enabled, your messages and the catalogue information needed for the answer are sent to our artificial intelligence provider, Groq, Inc. (United States), which generates the answer. Exalt does not record these conversations; Groq does not keep them by default. One exception: when the assistant cannot answer, the question alone is kept to improve its answers, without the conversation or your identity, with numbers and e-mail addresses masked. Kept for: 90 days. Do not enter sensitive data (health, for example).
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. It is read by the institute's team, who contact you by WhatsApp or phone to confirm.
To send a request, the website opens WhatsApp with a pre-filled message. That message is then subject to the terms of WhatsApp (Meta), which are independent of this website.
Cookies and local storage
The website uses no advertising, analytics or social media cookies. Your basket is kept in your browser (local storage) so you can find it again; it is only sent when you place the order. A session cookie exists only for the team, in the administration area.
Technical providers
Website hosting: Vercel. Database: Google Cloud / Firebase (Firestore). Images: Cloudinary. AI assistant: Groq, Inc. (United States). They process data on our behalf.
Access, correct or delete your data
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data by writing to exaltinstitut@gmail.com or on WhatsApp at +237 691 92 73 72. Give the name and phone number used for your request: we find the information about you and delete it, unless we are legally required to keep it.
